Beauty Guide: 2017 Favorite Luxury Beauty Finds For Wrinkle Prevention

Ever since I turned 40 last year, I've noticed that my skin is dryer....maybe it is, maybe it's psychological, but I've been a lot better about taking care of my skin.  I've always been fastidious about putting on sunscreen and staying out of the sun, but I am starting to notice some fine lines.  Botox and other fillers are out of the question...I'm a chicken when it comes to pain and I feel like it's a downward spiral if I even got started.

So, here are some of my favorite products that I've tried and absolutely loved.  You'll notice a lot of Shiseido brands on here - I grew up watching my mom and grandma use it and they have some beautiful skin.

One thing I cannot live without is my bottle of Shiseido Future Solution Replenishing Treatment Oil - it is absolutely the BEST - it's an incredibly light oil that absorbs immediately into your skin.  I use it after I use my serums and incorporate a pump into my creams.

The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup is another favorite of mine - it really melts away all the makeup - even stubborn waterproof eyeliner.

Here are some of my favorites that I use all the time - what are some of your tried and true favorites?

Beauty Guide: Neutral Beauty Palette - Tips & Tricks

neutral make up palette beauty products

I'm no master of make up - I'll admit that.  I really only have time for some eyeliner, blush, lip gloss and I'm ready to go.  I will use a bit more on occasion and these really caught my eye.

Here are some tutorials on how to master the art of contouring - the videos are pretty helpful - and makeup lessons from the beauty guru herself - Bobbi Brown.

Please let me know if you've used any of these and how you like them:

Beauty Guide: My Favorite Travel Sized Beauty Products

When I travel, I like to find products that are travel sized.  It allows me to pack more efficiently - rather than taking the full sized bottles.  Travel sized products are usually also TSA friendly.  Just toss them into your bag and you're ready to go!  Spring break is around the corner...do you have any travel plans?  For us, we're staying in Southern California - we just went to Hawaii for our winter getaway and next month we're heading to Dallas for a conference.

Oh - and by the way - these are my favorite toiletry bags.  It makes packing and organizing, oh.so.pretty.

Beauty Guide: Essential Beauty Products for Dewy Skin

Do you want perfectly dewy looking skin?  It doesn't happen overnight, but you can get it!  Start off by making sure you're drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily.

Then, make sure you clean your skin really well twice a day - I really love the Soniclear.  I have both this and the Clarisonic and they both are great at cleaning your skin.  The main difference between the units is that the brush on the Soniclear has antimicrobial properties that prevents bacteria growth.  When you factor in the cost of brush head replacement, the Soniclear is going to be cheaper in the long run.

And, for the month of March, through this link only - you can get the Soniclear bundle that includes:

Soniclear with 2 brushes - one for the face and one for the body
Soniclear Travel Case
Soniclear Extension Handle
Cosmetics Bag

for only $149

Other products that I love include the Shiseido 'White Lucent' Brightening Line  - I've been using this line for the last 5 years and I love how gentle and moisturizing it is.

The Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick blends seamlessly into your skin and gives you the look of super healthy dewy skin!

I haven't tried the rest of the products listed below, but there have been great reviews of them.  Have you tried any of them?

Beauty Guide: The Best Concealers For Tired Moms

Let's face it - being a mom is hard hard work.  I have 3 little rambunctious monkeys who I love oh so dearly.   Add to the mix - piano lessons, school meetings, room mom for both the older kids, Mommy & Me Gymboree class 3xs a week for the little tyke, and church service projects, you have one exhausted me who is always running on fumes.  And I run a company on top of running the household.  I am so very thankful that I have an amazing husband who is always happy and ready to help out with anything - from technology for my company to throwing in a load of laundry.

My lifesaver for looking like I got more than 4 hours of sleep?  Good concealers for my under eye circles! I've tried plenty and my favorites are the ones that I've profiled above.

I love using the Smashbox 'Photo Op' Under Eye Brightener for almost every day use.  It's affordable and works so well at brightening up tired eyes.

The Clinique All About Eyes Concealer is great because not only does it cover dark circles well, it comes in 8 different shades.  And at $18, also very affordable.

The Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener does a great job at concealing dark circles, but it also has a great applicator tip to really get into the tiny areas under your eyes.  Love that it comes in 10 shades.

The Yves St. Laurent 'Touche Eclat' Radiant Touch works for more than just the under eye circles.  Perfect for the hollow of the chin, the contour of your lips, and the sides of your nose.  A little more spendy at $42, but it works well for the rest of your face.

And the final one that I just LOVE - the Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer.  It is expensive at $70 - but it is the BEST.  I certainly don't use it all the time - only when I'm going out for a work function, a nice dinner out, or for a fancy event.  It has won major awards year after year for being one of the best concealers out there.  It does hide all imperfection, blends flawlessly, and comes in 6 shades.

What is your favorite concealer?
