10 Healthy and Delicious School Lunches For Kids
The start of school is around the corner for most kids and I'll bet that most of them are tired of the same old turkey and cheese sandwiches. Why not try something new lunches this year? Some may be a little bit more time consuming but if you make a bigger batch for dinner the night before, you can easily make enough for lunch. Many times I do that for my husband and kids because then it's just one set of dirty dishes and they get a more delicious lunch. Besides - it gives me a chance to use all the cute bento lunch boxes that I've had my eye on.

Kiwi Crate - Subscription Kids Crafts & Activities
Our friends over at Kiwi Crate sent over a lovely art & crafts crate for my kids to get creative with. Let me tell you. I'm a sucker for branding and when we opened it - let me rephrase that - when my 5 year old little guy saw the packaging, he ripped it open to reveal this adorable crate packed full of goodies!
Everything was so well packed and organized.
I loved that they even included scissors! Seriously, they've thought of everything and the packaging is just adorable.
We especially loved the city adventure booklet - it teaches the kids all about city life and has bonus projects in the back.
Other than the taxi - this was my son's favorite - road washi tape!
The pieces that will have kept the kids busy for hours. The cardstock that they used and the sticker paper is beyond luxe! I was so very impressed!
More pieces to the set - since we got the sibling set - they sent us 2 of every single thing so that they wouldn't fight over anything!
Action shots of the little guy putting together his taxi. He needed a little help folding the taxi together, which was actually very easy. He was able to put the axles and the wheels together as well as put all the stickers in place.
The finished taxi! They still have to finish up putting together the skyscraper - my daughter who is 8 is way into that - the blank canvases really lets her use her imagination as to how to decorate the storefronts.
This summer, they have some amazing kits with the following themes - camping, beach, and amusement park fun. I can't wait for them to arrive in the mail!! Or wait...maybe my kids can't wait for them. I love how they incorporate arts & crafts, science, and imaginative play all into one kit. I do also enjoy the few hours of quiet as they work on these wonderful projects!
